What's the difference between anti-detect browsers (dolphin-anty, multilogin) and hardened browsers that has anti-fingerprinting (brave, hardened firefox)?

Is brave browser a good alternative to anti-detect browsers (cause they costs a lot)? How about firefox with its containers?

I just went down the browsers and privacy rabbit hole so pretty much all of these related terms are new to me so forgive my ignorance.

Anti-detect browsers like Dolphin Anty or Multilogin are specifically designed for things like account management, ad campaigns, or even bypassing detection systems by mimicking different browser profiles or environments. On the other hand, browsers like Brave or hardened Firefox focus more on personal privacy by blocking ads, trackers, and minimizing your browser fingerprint. If you’re not into serious automation or managing multiple accounts, Brave or Firefox with containers could be a good (and cheaper) alternative

Brave and Firefox with anti-fingerprinting are solid for privacy and daily browsing, but they’re not quite the same as anti-detect browsers. Anti-detect browsers are typically used for tasks where you need multiple ‘virtual identities’ to avoid bans, which isn’t the focus of Brave or Firefox. If you need privacy and security for general browsing, Brave should work fine. But if you need to manage many accounts, you might still need an anti-detect browser

You could get pretty far using Brave or Firefox with its built-in privacy features. Brave does a great job of anti-fingerprinting and blocking trackers, and with Firefox, you can set up containers to keep separate identities or profiles. Both are good alternatives if you’re looking for strong privacy without spending money on a dedicated anti-detect browse

Anti-detect browsers allow you to run multiple browser sessions with unique fingerprints, which is great for multi-account management. If you’re just concerned with personal privacy or avoiding trackers, Brave or Firefox with containers might be enough. But if you’re handling a lot of accounts across different platforms, anti-detect browsers are more suited for that purpose, though they do cost more
