Starting from October 5, 2024, TikTok banned 8 of our accounts in a short timeframe (days). This includes our main account with 1.2 million followers and several accounts that haven’t been active for years. We suspect this might be related to us talking about hopecore, although we never uploaded any hopecore content. We did post some flashtoks on an alt account, but this doesn’t explain the widespread nature of the bans.
The bans seem to have been implemented through manual review rather than automated processes. We’ve appealed twice and received this response: “Your actions on TikTok have been found to violate our Youth Safety and Well-Being policy. Due to this violation, your device and accounts will remain permanently banned and you will be unable to create new TikTok accounts.”
We’re unsure why this happened and whether it’s just a coincidence. Has anyone else experienced similar issues recently? Any insights or advice would be appreciated.
